Bashment

Bashment is a multi-disciplinary creative studio specializing in music, events, apparel and video – Caribbean-rooted but globally active. Bashment reflects a contemporary island lifestyle and the defiant spirit of youth culture. Focused on community, Bashment has collaborated with artists across various mediums to create conceptual products and experiences with style and attitude. Bashment hosts monthly events in Miami and New York, bringing their signature Caribbean vibe wherever they go. Their record label, Bashment Records, has released projects designed by Public Matter, featuring artists like Jo Mersa Marley, Projexx, and Konshens. Silent Addy, Bashment's co-founder, has also worked hand-in-hand with Public Matter to overhaul his personal visual identity, branding, and aesthetic. For five years, Public Matter oversaw Silent Addy and Bashment's creative direction, manifesting in the form of event flyers, tour posters, album artwork, and apparel.
